Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker Recall: What You Need to Know

Featured Image

***Ninja Foodi Recall Alert*** On May 1, 2025, SharkNinja issued a recall for approximately 1.8 million Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers due to a serious burn hazard.

The recall, announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), affects units sold in the U.S. and Canada between January 2019 and March 2025 at retailers like Walmart, Costco, Amazon, Target, and Sam’s Club, as well as online at NinjaKitchen.

The issue stems from a defective lid that can be opened while the cooker is pressurized, causing hot food or liquid to escape and potentially burn users.

Over 100 burn injuries have been reported, including more than 50 cases of second- or third-degree burns to the face or body, prompting 26 lawsuits against SharkNinja.

The recalled 6.5-quart black cookers, which also function as air fryers, bear the “Ninja” logo and model numbers like OP300, OP301, OP302, and others. Replacement lids purchased separately are also included in the recall.
